Vikings, dragons… Noggin’s back!
Noggin the Nog
Rose Theatre Kingston
6 - 12
25 - 28 January 2018
Tuesday 16 January 2018

In the Lands of the North where the black rocks stand guard against the cold sea, the Men of the Northlands sit around their great log fires and begin to tell a tale…

In this interpretation by Third Party and Mischievous Theatre, the story of the Nogs is told by a group of rough-hewn Vikings who draw in the young viewers with audience interaction and spellbinding storytelling.

They invite them to head north on a journey with Noggin the Nog, the simple but good-natured son of Knut, King of the Nogs. There are many battles ahead, with the fearsome Ice Dragon standing in the way, and the evil Nogbad the Bad who is up to his dastardly tricks once again! Puppets and live music enhance the tumultuous and exhilarating adventures with the utterly charming Nog and his Viking friends.

Originally the star of a TV series and illustrated books, Noggin the Nog is stepping out of the TV set and into the spotlight at Rose Theatre this January. Noggin became something of a cult classic in the golden age of British children’s television and looks set to delight both adults who remember Noggin and kids who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting him yet!

Noggin the Nog is showing at the Rose Theatre Kingston from 25th – 28th January 2017. For more information or to book tickets, please visit the website.
