A Dose of Magical Mayhem
George's Marvellous Medicine
Rose Theatre Kingston
28 March - 7 April 2018
From £10
Thursday 08 February 2018

Some problems can only be fixed with a dose of medicine, and George has got a BIG problem that needs a particularly MARVELLOUS remedy…

George’s Grandmother likes to gobble up slugs and bugs, and won’t stop bossing George around. So he sets about creating a brand new medicine to cure his grandma of her cruelty, but gets more than he bargained for when his medicinal powers turn out to be rather, well, marvellous. Enter a procession of growing grannies, feathery farm animals, and boiling broths, bringing the theatre to bouncing bubbling life!

Following the success of its other Dahl adaptations The Twits and The Witches, Rose Theatre Kingston have joined forces with Curve Leicester to concoct a rather marvellous musical adventure. With live music and songs, and a Dahl-ian vibe from the overt comedy and vibrant characters reminiscent of Quentin Blake’s wonderful drawings.

With a dash of quirkiness, a smidgen of mischievous mayhem and a glug of magical music, George’s Marvellous Medicine looks set to be the perfect dose of family fun!

George’s Marvellous Medicine is at the Rose Theatre Kingston from 28th March – 7th April 2018. For more information or to book tickets, please visit the website.
